"He won't do it." - Kathy
Speaking of which, turns out my mother was somehow right. She admitted to some bisexuality. =O (Not that anyone cares, and I hope...well. I don't care anymore, and really, for the most part, am angry, resentful and hateful. Of course, I still pretend to be happy, because that's how you bring the best out of other people. If you're next to someone who isn't responsive and is quiet, it's hard to see their personality and "normal" traits. Case in point, Iced Trees. At first, I figured you were a little quiet and didn't really...change in 4 years. But after a while, and me listening to you (properly, no doubt), I understood and realised that you are much more interesting than it seems.)
And I'll finish the rest later tonight, because I need to do math, and my ideas aren't cemented into my head as yet. I really need to keep a notebook with me.
Ok, time to start up again. It's a curse and a blessing that the swimming carnival is tomorrow. Because it means one more day on math hw, which did seem a tad much. Still, I hate the carnival, because as Kram puts it "He's afraid of anything that might change slightly." [/mocking]
Then again, I just finished. Yay.
And oh my, I have to write a page for english ext. that's due in 4 days. Still, it's not bad. Should be fun.
I'm not really looking forward to swimming tomorrow afternoon, but the worst that could happen is making me really unhappy and brooding. Nothing that doesn't happen anyway.
Oh, and I got a comment about being emo, and then changed my pm to what it is now, and then got a different comment about being emo atm. Haha. In any case, it's not really so much...well. It's an interesting mindset. It's not entirely dark, but it's not entirely content either. I like it though. Doesn't mean I'm going to inflict pain and wear really weird stuff. (Uniform considerations.) So, yes, no. But it's the mindset that counts, and well. Does anyone need another post about about analysis of people and their minds?
Ok, now. I said I would talk a little about Kael's post, mainly because...it's interesting and reasonably well written.
1. The need to find something complex and interesting and intriguing out of a set of 4 numbers in a permutation which forms a time, is because we are all trained to do so, and while the other part of training is that there's "Only one answer", it still holds that it's challenging and mostly "fun" to be finding complex chains and patterns which should not make sense, but this quest GIVES it that purpose. From what I gather, Kael has skipped the quest, and hence, that defies all "common" logic, therefore, why he has to explain it in the first place, and why I shouldn't be writing about this, but am.
2. You cannot read that and NOT find it interesting. That he's tacked onto constructed meaning for a set of 4 numbers, and which may or may not have been a gauge of people's reactions. Of course, these are just my thoughts, but it stands.
3. A bit critical, but the factorising x^2 + y^2 is a valid thing, if you need to actually do something with it later.
4. I say that I'm insane, and people laugh it off. Makes you wonder how the definition of insane has warped over the years.
5. What does special mean to me? Something that is mine, that no-one else will ever have, and should ever have. It's completely and absolutely mine and me. That's special. Otherwise, there's specialty by other categories, much like how there's significance by value, by name, by possession, and one other. I think.
6. Other random thoughts. The dictionary will give you a nice "correct" meaning, however, words, as long as they have a home, or a context, will have different uses and meanings, and slightly misusing a word would be counted as skewed. Example, when I used "coercion" to describe the peer pressure into picking a sport. It's not TECHNICALLY coercion, but its meaning stands.
7. The burning curiosity is something we all have, and of course, by asking, we make it even more special. Because he's in the know, and we're not. Because he knows WHY, and we don't. If you could categorise the "big" questions in the world, they would mostly fall under "WHY"
8. The attempt to make an inside joke of something, and the icy anger I feel when something I've made, something I'VE discovered is shared out of my control, and something which should actually remain private, is too much. While it's not going to make me throw things and yell, it will put me on the edge for that, when something else comes along and topples my self-control over.
9. Sometimes people are loners, like me. I like to be around friends, but sometimes I just want to be alone to think, to plan, etc. Of course, this might not at all have any relation to anything whatsoever, but I'm in the English Creative Writing fever/mood right about now.
10. And yes, scrolling down, you can see that Kael has also touched on the anger you get when something is spread out of your personal control. It's cheapened, used and then thrown away. It's maddening as it is hurting and saddening. Much like Fnords, I shall note. And Box/Bogdanov. So much so, that making your little country has made it completely "lame" and unpopular in and of itself.
How does THIS little gem relate? Because, The Scream is under-going the same process. It's just about dying, and see, these days you don't see balloons and key rings everywhere. You have to go to ebay to look for those.
And yea, this is just as long, but if you're in for the long wait, why not?
The most cynical thing I could say about Kael's post is that it's his "hipster" thing. Of course, the connotations are far too mean for me to mention, so I will say that someone else with my mind, but not my heart would tell you that, and walk away. I will say, that I have pointed it out, but that I don't mean it.
It is a great piece of text, and I mean it.
Thus ends my talk on that piece of text.
And I really don't have an other ideas. As yet. It's late. So I'll just press the "publish" button.
No hopes, no dreams yet.
But now there is.
Hoping that tomorrow rains. Heavily. Or maybe hails. Or sleet! SNOW. Please, atmospheric pressure. SNOW.

I don't know where the heading went, but oh well.
"So how's THAT for a better picture? Huh, Aereas? Huh?"
Anyway, what to talk about...Oh.
Swimming Carnival's on thursday. But you knew that. Horrible! Well, not really. But, $2 to either do nothing or make a fool of yourself, or sunburn yourself isn't much of a good choice. (Infact, it's not much of a choice at all.)
Otherwise, now what? Work, work more work, etc. And I need to type up a few small things, but it's not bad.
Hoping that I have not forgotten something.

Quadra-posting?
"In any case, Munch is Munch. He painted The Scream, not Van Gogh."
So yes, apologies for last night, I was really busy and then, forgot to do this, and etc. etc. and you didn't really miss it anyway did you? Hmph.
Anyway, what's up...Nothing much, really. It's really great weather, it's the best weather yet, I suppose. And I like the picture at the top of the page. It's one of my favourites. Mainly because it's wallpaper size, mostly.
And it's special.
"You're doing really well." - Van Loon (Yaya.)
Also, Red Rubber Gloves anyone? I think I'll need them. Like, really long ones. And bright red. That would be cool.
I actually don't know what to say. Probably, that I have work to do, and shall now do it.
Hoping for a new day. Ok, not really.

Swimming, again.
"Who do you think I am? The weatherman?"
So, no it hasn't rained yet. But, well. It's summer. Rain just doesn't happen.
Ok, let's tally what I'm actually going to do, with an 80% or more chance, in this year.
1. Work (Duh.)
2. Muck-up day! (Maybe ties in with Spring Fair. Depends.)
3. Swim. Yea, probably. Went today. Seems like a twice a week thing, maybe.
I'll make up a concrete parts list, later, and maybe put it on the "book of faces".
Water gun (As big as you can find, and maybe in multiples)
Pumps (Maybe, bicycle.)
Extra canisters (But they come from cannibalizing other water guns.)
Erm...
I'll think about the others.
But the main point is, I need a large watergun, or several. Anyone know where I can buy them?
Hoping that tomorrow will rain. And the day after that. And after that one too.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
"Water is more viscous than air." - Biology.
Anyway, long story short, I just can't waste my time trying to fix a problem, when the second person in said problem won't cooperate. It's frustrating, and stupid, and I think I'll stop now. Both this, and that.
Other than that, there's...really not much. Except that I'm still going ahead with my flywheel idea, and that work is nice for a change, and... I have to get a Bio prac book (I didn't know we needed one...) and...er. I have all this spare paper, but whatever. And, I need to pay fees and sport. Meh. Oh yes, and I'm recording english lessons with Van Loon. It's scratchy quality, but it's good enough. It means that I have a fail safe should I not be paying attention and inadvertently daydreaming, because I'm not writing something down, or because he's not talking about something vaguely interesting. (Rarely, but usually about history. Funny that...)
So, yes. Story of my day, just brief and cryptic. Ask later.
Oh. Really cool edit. Like. EDIT EDIT EDIT (COOL): There was a year 12 dressed up as Rinoa for muck-up photos. That's really really cool =O Paper pinwheel, and the other right stuff, but still really cool. (FF8)
Hoping I can just get on with work. Sometime.

This is all about me. That's right. ME.
"Happy people are all the same. Unhappy people are unhappy for different reasons."
Nice little quote. What does this have to relate to the day?
Sadness, because of things I've lost, but hopefully I can change that.
Happiness, because who doesn't like receiving a broken toy, and given the suggestion to make a flywheel out of it? For the record, I'm going to try. Someday.
Slight bitterness, because I realise that I no longer have much time for games. Which is good, and bad, but good all round, and hence why it's slight. It's not because "There's going to be a maaaaassive workload", it's because "There are more urgent things requiring attention, similar to "Our allies' town is under attack!"" Not that any of that was relevant.
Ok, well. What else. Swimming lessons.
1. I'm already hating it, and it's the first week.
2. I'm such a wuss for hating it.
3. Sport sucks.
4. Swimming sucks
4a. Because you're always out of breath
4b. There's water everywhere
4c. You can't drink any of it
4d. It destroys membranes. But that's with large concentrations. In pool-level concentrations, it hurts
5. I'm still, such a wuss.
6. I'm going to like it. Eventually.
7. It's tiring
8. It's probably going to be rewarding. Eventually.
9. Getting praise when you KNOW you don't deserve it, sucks. But it's nice to hear the words, even if they're fake/false.
It's like, a social trap in reverse (A social trap being, over-fishing, where the short term goal of catching billions of fish, depletes the oceans of fish, meaning that there isn't going to be any left, eventually. Keyword of the day: Eventually.)
So, yea I'm not about to back out now. It'll grow on me. Eventually.
Also, yes, no time for much else, including my favourite hobbies. Maybe if I speed up my learning process by doing ALL available work, and then ordering one extra Phys textbook, cause he said so, I might have some time for that. I suspect that time will come sometime around...June. If I'm lucky. So, yes, delayed, by a lot.
Hoping, well. That I do like swimming, eventually.

Hot, hot, hot!
"Waaaaaay too hot!"
So, yea, normal lessons, nice lesson in English, triple math was alright, but I got some questions about Romantic Children =.= Just google it if you want, I don't care.
And for the record, you soo could've caught that usb. With your laptop. Yea. With your laptop =O
Anyway, water fight in the afternoon, heat waves, and boring, people getting kicked out of the library (Lol. Ok. That's mean.), and various other occurrences I can't remember... Oh, yea. Ben's turret on wheels, which is very unstable, and I hope he rectifies that.
I have 2 days.
Hoping I don't forget what I need to do. And exchange my shirt, because I bought the wrong size.

Ah, well. Subversion of expectation, huh?
"And therefore, penguins are all the same color."
Photos are Friday, there are several assignments in Phys, least of which is due on 14th, ie; birthday, valentine, work. Best combination, huh? I don't know either.
Also, from there, there's English work, which I'm not sure if anyone will respond, but I don't care. I did the work, screw everyone else who says otherwise.
And seriously, Rosemary gives me these creepy looks. It's getting to me. =O
And...Hm. I don't know. There was something, but I'm a tad busy, though I'm always open for emails.
Hoping for well, anything. Oh. That winter comes round early this year. Gah. Heat, heat, heat.

Alright. 1. 2. 3. School!
"Aren't we not supposed to be in the same class? =O" Stuart Mac Burns.
Teacher breakdown:
English Adv: Van Loon. Had him in Year 9, he remembered me (yay.) and well, it's a great class, even if there's no-one to talk to. (Which is the best bit. Teacher I like + No-one to distract me = Fun.)
Eng Ext: Cowgill. Interesting teacher, to say the least, and to overuse one of my more overused words. Slightly...different approach to teaching, more tech based. The lesson was...well, about taboo and cultures, and societies. Namely, kissing. Also, you picked the weirdest places to sit. It's in the middle, and the variance of air flow means that it sometimes warm, sometimes cold. I think I'll be sneezing a lot in that position. Maybe.
Phys: Ogle. Yet another class with no-one to talk to. Perfect. Also, he's not all that bad. Might get to like it, eventually.
Chem: Weston. I thought he was Vietnamese, with the hairstyle, look and accent, but my father says his last name isn't Viet. So there goes that. Your standard run-off-the-mill approach to science. Or chemistry. Lots of people looked bored. It wasn't all that bad, but it was P8.
Bio: Trukulja. Another one of those interesting teachers. She doesn't seem all that bad at teaching, too.
Van Loon: "You're absolutely right, and absolutely wrong."
Lead up, is that a man in Tunisia set fire to himself. Van Loon asked why us why he did so. So, of course, being the news-ignorant person I am, I give some psychological answer which encompasses everything. Turns out, the actual answer is that he wasn't allowed to sell his vegetables.
Anyway, I think that's it. Also, is Rosemary always that...cold? =/ Maybe just me.
And I think I'll let KoL simmer for a bit. It's mid-way in a 100% Black Cat run, but who cares. I can come back to it when the HSC is over, maybe.
Remember Hinokakera? Yea, I picked it up again. It's quite fun. Love the music, though.
Hoping that the rest of the year is just as cool.

So if you tier it, and pull this plus this and this...
"You get a neat present!"
So, erm yes. I don't know what I'm doing but... 6, then 8 then... *frown*
Not really doing much, went swimming, then realised why I don't like it. I can't breathe underwater.
Also, chlorine and such. It's smelly, to say the least.
Hoping I see you all tomorrow.
