Post of post-camp highlights (including a post)

Inspired by other people i have decided to write a post-camp post. The other reason is because this is easy and i don't have to unmuddle my train of thought to type it onto this thingummy. And i still have a lot of work to do. Here goes.

1.A lengthy debate upon the merits of bacon consumption which lasted 2 days, namely starting on the 2nd morning because that was the first day of breakfast and ending on the third day. Maybe. Before you hear their side of the argument, you have to remember that bacon is extremely oily and salty. It being the "breakfast of champions" may be true... "breakfast of dead champions" that is. The only time you would even consider eating it would be with congee. It's just waaaaaaaay too artery clogging and sodium overdosing. You'd think that too little sodium could kill you, well so can too much.

2.The movie on the second night, or rather the discussion about it. It involved musical instruments, weapons, the Monkey King, explosions and just general corny but very cool CGI of old Chinese dramatic martial arts films

3.Making myself believable even when i'm telling complete lies. It's more of a hobby for anytime, but i did it several times during camp and it resulted in quite comic consequences.

4.The best part for me. Scribbling in my notebook on the bus. I came up with a surreal drawing and a new hat, as well as a few more ideas for writing and a rewritten article i have yet to submit.

5.The second most interesting part was the woman at the front of the Woolworth's entrance in...Jindabyne. Due to years ago with complaints of stealing, they have adopted something quite unique. The complaints are about tourists such as myself, but with different groups. They adopted the "bags outside" condition of entry. And while it's not written anywhere in their store, it is sort of discrimination, combined with her facial expression and how she dressed/makeup etc. it wasn't exactly Woolworth's service. Furthermore, if you looked over 18, you didn't have to put your bag outside even though everyone is as equally prone to stealing no matter the age. Go figure.

There might be more highlights, so i'll write them as soon as i remember. Have a nice journey.

Upon the subject of subjective irony.

It is quite a large topic. And sometimes funny, sometimes sad. (As an aside i made a new word today "Tautologic". Yes the real word should probably be Tautological, it's still a very cool word. Well, i think so anyway. It's kinda like "Taut Logic")

In any case, the quest is now over and now there is a trial. A test, if you will. And it's the kind of test you know that you're going to pass so you don't really care, but you should because it's going to do something. And affect your future. Just like in the movies!

I really have a lot of work to get through so i'll keep this a little brief. Till the next time when i actually have time to debate with my council. Inside my head.

It's like a journey!

QUEST!

Wait, what?

And to clarify, i don't care if you read this or not, just don't tell me that it's boring. Because you're boring and your taste is boorish. So if you are going to read it, then read it because you find it interesting, not because you have waaaaay too much time on your hands (generated by not doing any work. At all).

Making posts about controversial things gets old quick. I mean, how about i told you that your parents hated you or that i'm going to burn the establishment closest to your heart.
Just to prove my point..

I am going to ruin the reputation and happiness (if any) of my enemies, because i can and because it gives me a goal in life. (Goal Noted. Check Goals.)

Moving on, if you do read it, then please comment because it if you don't it's like i'm writing for no-one to no-one beside myself.

Back to the quest, this will be the last post for 3 days, because we are on a journey. Of discovery and exploration. Of data finding and animal tracking (or looking at animal tracks, i don't know. ...And i don't think you can coat it in much more sugar than that. Though, i guess there's still the social element to it, so...

On the topic of mirrors, they're really cool and disturbing at the same time. Disturbing to see a perfect copy of yourself, but cool because it's just interesting to examine yourself. (Or maybe it's just me.) For instance, i learned that my left eyelid covers my 1/2 my iris, while my right eyelid only covers 3/5 of my iris. It makes for interesting musing for things like this. Also, i learned this year that in the first few years, when i child sees themselves in a mirror is important because it affirms their existence.

May you never call anything bland or boring, just because you don't have the mental capacity to understand the finer points in life. Witless ones.

Car rears

If i had to pick 2 dream careers it would be to work for Level-5 in Japan or as a psychiatrist/psychologist. I know that my parents wouldn't like it but still. It's awesome.

About Level-5, they made the Dark Cloud series (planning to release DC3), The Professor Layton series, Rogue Galaxy series and much more. Very successful and very cool to have a job working there.

Just wanted to write it before i forgot.

The finer points in life

Without being a preacher on the good and the bad of life, today i proved the point that first opinions in strangers tends to be the accepted one. For instance, should i tell someone that my associate is an idiot, then my associate to say otherwise, they tend to go with the idiot notion. It's all very interesting and certainly applicable. Should you need a mediator for a dispute, no matter what happens always speak first. Chances are the mediator is a stranger, and thus it will work.

I've also found that i tend to waver between related points when i write, but not quite on the point that i need to make. It's sort of waffle, but not really as it's all very interesting and un-boring to write about. Just the thought of writing about writing about people is just interesting.

That being said, being have to write about something because you just have to is not fun at all.

I am also very sick (maybe biologically too) of people asking me whenever i draw anything, "Is that so-and-so?" or "That is X" when clearly they didn't draw it and unless it has a the label of "THIS IS A BOX" or something like that, it cannot be what they think it is. For some reason people think that because they notice a vague bunch of shapes that obey the laws of light and arranged in a particular fashion that they get to (very safely) say that it is what they say it is. It's all very maddening and annoying. Every. Single. Time. I draw something, by the end of the day, there will have been at least 10 different people asking me "Is that...." And it's like they don't know that i can change it with a few strokes of a pacer/pencil. Or both.

And i like drawing anything. So it makes me angry when people try to rationalize something which is just made by picking bits of things while on a jolting moving bus. It's like they see my drawings as a threat and their defense mechanisms kick in, trying to rationalize it and thus remove its "threat". People, drawings of 4 pebbles tied in a cross is not a threat to your health. And it is not a four leaf clover either, because it is not in the least symmetrical.

May you never comment on someone else's drawing till you have at least a title to guide you.
