If wishes were fishes, we'd be in a sea.

"If I gave you the key to anywhere, anytime, where would it lead you?"

Sometimes I can get terribly irritated and then it turns into rash things, and all round un-thinking. But I try not to show it. Then there's the subtle meanings of "try". Though, just "trying" isn't really enough, because if everyone who "tried" got what they wanted, then the success "stories" wouldn't be so uncommon.

So be of good cheer, I suppose.

Things never turn out the way you want it to, but it doesn't really matter anyway.

Mouse drawing => Finger painting. Well, at least, that's what I've read somewhere, and it kinda makes sense.

Hoping for a long weekend.

More cooking, and awesome, really.

"I probably shouldn't have done that..."

Prefect inductions a bit boring, but it's polite to pay attention now and again, so I did. And the band conductor is a Mr. Gibson. Jamie Gibson?

So after a little bit of research last night, Petrol sniffing => Xylene => Jenkem. It's quite disgusting though. But funny/interesting at the same time, which surprising is the same word in Japanese, but it's just another language with it's alternate meanings, etc. etc. Have fun wikipedia-ing.

Cooking again, same thing as last time, deep fried wontons, but this time with wonton skins instead of dumpling skins. It makes quite a bit of difference. It's also quite easy to make, just tedious and time consuming.

Hoping the days get better.

Sometimes you just..forget?

"The cure all for all."

Essay due monday, and I need a thesis for this very open question about "discussing" the theme of the term. Otherwise known as the flavor of the month. Or, "Flay-vor of the month". Haha. Anyway, history isn't all that bad, but I do hope that those going to VNight have heaps of fun, unlike a mortal such as myself. =D

Although, History assessment thing is tomorrow, so is the Prefect induction, which is a bit boring, but, it is kinda necessary. And next year, it shouldn't be all that boring. I hope.

A slow day, but I have decided to start a new project, that is, drawing with a mouse. It's pretty fun. Just a bit clunky.

Maybe I'll give up on another project..

Who knows?

Hoping a few promises are kept.

2 things.

"More happy, less obnoxious."

That's a comment I got when asking a very nice but somewhat..indifferent friend by the name of William, who also has a "World Map". Then again, he can't really judge because I'm not where he hangs out all that much, but it's there.

Secondly, TWEWY's back online, which is cool. And..

"What's Inception like?"
"See, you get these pins, and you imprint ideas onto people"

(Something like that.)

Anyway, maybe it's all for the better.

Hoping I can go to that "other event".

So, how is it coming together?

"Wow."

Chem NQE's were fun. The only letdown is that I can't take the booklet with me, because the booklet is the answer sheet thing for the extended thing. I finished all I could somewhere in the middle of recess, which is okay, considering I haven't learnt anything from the Chem tutorial sessions I haven't been to. Which is fine, because the NQE was easier than the Physics one (in my dishonest opinion anyway) and I did manage to finish maybe 5/8ths of it. Including a question on dipeptides, which was fun. Seriously, it's just adding up atomic weights, rounding and a little bit of logic.

The rest of it, I couldn't do, which was on reactions with a molecule or some kind of compound with a reactant, and drawing diagrams, etc. etc. The multiple choice was okay too.

Rio Tinto was a let-down because it was so easy, and yet so stupid. If I do get any wrong, it's not that I got it wrong that takes the cake, it's because I can't prove why my answer is correct and theirs isn't. It's like they want us to think like old geezers sitting round a coffee table, writing this up. Stupid, really.

For instance, the question on the conversion of "sound to nerve impulses". You have:

A) Ear Canal
B) Ear Drum
C) Cochlea
D) Auditory Nerve

(Probably not in the same order, but those were the choices.)

Now, Ear Canal is just a tube, Ear Drum is a membrane which acts as a microphone/reverse speaker, Cochlea is an organ with cilia (?) and fluid for conducting vibrations and conversion of those vibrations to "nerve impulses" and the Auditory Nerve is another tunnel from the Cochlea to the Brain, carrying a "nerve impulse" and not a pressure wave this time. (Could this paragraph be all wrong?)

So, if it's not A or D, then B is converting "sound" to vibrations, which I wouldn't call "nerve impulses" because they travel through bone to the Cochlea. The Cochlea technically and by extension transforms "sound" into "nerve impulses", but that's not what it's function is. So, either way, it does seem you can't have a "right" answer. And if this were an extended response, I'd be much, much more content.

Hoping I get over it. Eventually.

To skip or not to skip?

"Freaking out here.!"

So, as chem NQE's are on tomorrow, periods 1,2,7,8 (cause Rio Tinto is 3,4), it might be possible to skip a history test as well...Wait, I get recess anyway. Sweet! So I can skip a history test. Yay. Well, until friday or something. But it's still cool.

Going to fail, but who cares? I've learnt a few things. I'm sure it's worth $30 to self-learn some stuff and get some resources for next year.

A somewhat happy apple (or is it bad?) in English. It's quite boring with a sub, but it means no work, and note taking...well. Essay's due next monday from what I heard, so it's all good. History however, is due this friday. Etc. etc. other stuff as well, you don't need me to complain as well.

Which does mean flat out working on History for the rest of this week, with a break here and there in the morning on the bus and in the afternoon car trip home for gaming. Which is enough, really. Because how can you concentrate in a moving vehicle? Plus, not internet.

Quite a good day, if a bit..well. I did get a whistle blown because of "dangerous play" in Hockey. Which makes a little sense, but I haven't had any accidents to date, and only one to me, which was a flying ball to the face.

For all those...well. If you're complaining about how bad the Baulko Bulletin articles are, then do something, whinging lazy people. Write an awesome one for the team, eh?

Balance is always good. Work work work all week.

Oh, and I'm sick of people saying or implying that it's the doctor's fault that a low statistical success rate surgery fails, or that the doctor goes ahead with superfluous surgery, or late term abortions (you name it.) at the PATIENT'S REQUEST and still receives death threats, hate mail, and generally spat upon. It's not the damned surgeon/doctor's fault, it's similar to the law system where sometimes you can't refuse a case (I think that's how it is anyway.). Just my thoughts, really. Yes, they can turn it down, but then you have less qualified surgeons agreeing, etc. etc. Bad things all round.

Hoping tomorrow is special.

If only it did happen the way people say it does.

"Unfortunately..or fortunately, depending on your stance."

Well, a perfect world never comes around in the way that you'd think. Look at communism, eh?

Lately, there isn't really much on my mind, and anything that does come up, I forget, so, shorter posts, but no-one's complaining, so there shouldn't be a problem. Right?

2 Essays in 80 minutes? Greaaaat. =/ Anyway, I guess we need to do loads of work and still revise for those assessments.

Hoping for the best. And nothing less.
