"Who writes poetry in this day and age?!" - Me.
Or rather, something i said rashly in a class discussion. Actually, seeing as there isn't much to do, i might.
Again, not really much to be said, except that i started playing FF12 and it's all a bit weird. First you have a conqueror who looks like Laguna, second, hit and run does not exist in battle even though it looks like it could. Third, magic is somewhat melee ranged. Fourth, "Running" around gets a tad boring because of the big maps, but that's a curse and blessing. Fifth, Loading screens take a billion years. Okay there's a lot of content, but still. It could have a nice picture or something. Anything but black which makes it seem as if the disc's broken or something.
Anyhow. Trying to fix a few things, but that's put on hold for a bit and I do have 2 bits of history and one bit of science to do. Eh. It isn't too bad, actually.
"You live, you learn". Really. So i guess it's a major incentive to not die. Also so you have the time to regret on things.
Hoping i actually get some of it done this holidays.

Back in the day...
"What good are friends for, if they come back to bite you later?"
Holidays, yay! Sort of. Well, it is a break, but i do have a little work to do. Okay, not really, but i might have to clean up some stuff and make sure some stuff is working.
Also, there isn't always loads to talk about, really.
Besides those things, apparently there's going to be yet another engineering excusion, which will be cool.
Hoping you enjoy your holidays, too.

Now..
"Super is too strong of a word, and death-machine. Well, it might be overdoing it a tad."
And so Engineering Day came and went. And i'll tell you, it was AWESOME. Like, if you got an "awe" scale and put it all the way to "some". That's how cool it was.
1.Mechatronics. Ie. Mechanical Electronics. Robots and the ilk. Very fun. Drove cars into walls and watched a talk (well, attended's the word.) by Dr. Karl, who is older than he looks, but it doesn't matter because he is a top-notch everyman. Talked about BP and technology and engineering and solar panels in Australia. And addiction to oil. And free flash drive from a goodies bag. Yay.
2.Aeronautics. Planes, zoom zoom, F1-11 planes and whatnot. Flight sim, but G-forces and hydraulics were turned off for safety reasons. Also, there were too many people on it; not enough seats. Rushed for time's the reason.
3.Chemical Engineering. Or, Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering, or something along those lines. Make ice cream with Liquid Nitrogen. Tasty, but the chocolate chips we put in were like bricks. Well, sorta. Also i heard that Tom Knellwolf got his hand frozen in Liquid Nitrogen. Well, not directly, but he had his hand in a glove which froze and the cold hurt his hand. He's sure to be fine, i think. Oh, and balloon crushing, flower smashing and distillation tubes which are incredi-high.
4.Lunch. Lots of pizza and chips and water. Really tasty, too.
5.Bridge building, but with straws. And pins. We (Me + Mark) came about..3rd? I think. Mr Benic helped Francis and Ian. Mhm.
All i can really think of. Besides guessing a question that Dr. Karl was asking. And something about BMW's and Terraced Houses and Money. But he was just joking.
Hoping you had a fun(er) day. Because this was officially, the BEST excursion i've been on.

Holidays!
"Well, close enough."
Engineering day tommorow. Early wake-up i guess. But then again, everyone is. And school uniform. Which isn't that good, but as Mr. Benic put it, "If you pay on time, I'll throw in a free pizza lunch." So it can't be bad. And Dr. Karl is there.
Watching some "Highway Patrol" show, and i realised how mob mentality affects people. Short story, short, big mob trashes Bob Jane T-Mart and gets onto youtube/video sites/media/whatnot and police come to investigate. One mob dispersion later, the bit is over and "Some people have since handed themselves into the police." I don't know about you, but if i was part of something big and illegal, i wouldn't go handing myself in. What's done is done and inflicting extra hardship onto you for guilt relief isn't exactly something that's practical. Then again, it comes down to morality vs. "what's in it for me." Of which i am reading some kind of short e-book about. And it's short, for wide-reading, plus i've read better, but hey, it's free.
Coldest "cold-snap" in 61 years. That's a long time. And it's pretty cold, but nice as well. Better than summer heat even if i can't sleep that well sometimes. Maybe i am thinking too much.
As for poetry, i think i'd prefer to write stories or something instead of jam-packing fancy techniques into a poem for meaning and calling it "free-verse". Then again, i'm grateful that my teach thinks that writing poetry, well, at least us writing it, isn't going to get far. Even though she's a poet, too.
Maybe over the holidays, i'll learn how to cook other dishes/things. Maybe. It's easy, but it just means knowing what certain combinations of flavours turn out and the laws behind vegetables, water and meat. And the humidity and all that jazz. Incredi-harmonious!
Hoping holidays aren't as boring as they usually are. Then again, the trade-off is no work from subjects i don't like, like PD or...Math/Science/History/Geo? Actually, math and science aren't that bad.

And so it begins. (Happy 100 posts. Whoo.)
"How boring. And anti-anti-plagarist"
FINALLY! After a whole 1 hour of searching, I finally found the song i was thinking of!
Holidays coming, Eng Excursion have to wake up at 6:30 ish. Grrr. Well, it's still a good day. But i don't like the extendo-times.
Bear is incredibly british. I mean, Gla-si-er and Vit-a-mins. Then again, I found out the other day that some of the ways i say things are American. Like. Math. Instead of Maths. Other than that, aluminium is aa-lu-min-i=um and wine casks are wine casks. Not wine in a box.
Late home = Noodles for dinner, but it doesn't matter, really. Reckless crash by some 3rd and 4th parties. Took ages to navigate, and when I got home, it was incredi-dark.
Laptop stocktake is stupid, but "democratic" and so i'll be playing PS2 the whole holidays, i guess. Mmm. Which isn't quite a bad thing. Also, i might get back to writing. Maybe this time thesis essays for practise so that i WILL beat you in English. Just watch me. And it also means i need to go get another USB for storage space. Thus, i hope that walking = shops. If not, i've got a plan B which isn't as nice, but will work.
Wish 12 units of anything made you skip sport. Because seriously, i don't need more work and at the same time, i don't need to be spending time on sport which could be used on fueling my studies. And i'm not sure if Morning/Afternoon classes will work out to begin with. But i guess it will in the end.
And doing History 1967 booklet. In the Holidays.
As an aside, i found a "Prismriver Medley/Concert". It's seriously cool. Minus the fact that there is drums, but no matter, keyboard = drums...sort of. If you can press the buttons every 1/3 second. It also has "Gig the alternative"! Win!
Perhaps my mannerisms are changing again. Writing wise. Perhaps.
Hoping everything goes as planned.

So that's how it works!
"Change your attitude, and you change the world."
- xxxHolic, somewhere, probably para-phrased.
But really, there have been several times where an attitude change has changed the way things would have unraveled. It's funny in retrospect, but then again, everything is. Almost.
No my AAA wasn't with birds, no it didn't win (i don't think it did anyway), and no i'm not getting it back (apparently.). Which is really selfish and they should give back the ones they aren't paying for. Seriously!
Hoping I get mine back. =(

Nothing much happening.
"No."
But really, there isn't too much happening at the moment, besides writing essays and relaxing.
Just print and go.
Though i do quite like my essay, but i'll need to proof read.
For lack of anything else.
Hoping you aren't bored.
